City advises of planned electricity supply interruption in Century City

The City’s Electricity Generation and Distribution Department would like to advise residents in Century City that a necessary electricity supply interruption will be carried out in their area from 22:00 on Sunday 10 December 2023 to 22:00 the following day. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused. 

The City is carrying out critical repairs to important electricity infrastructure in the area. The repair work ensures a reliable electricity supply for residents.

The work will be carried out on:

• Sunday, 10 December 2023, from 22:00 to 22:00 on Monday, 11 December 2023.

Please note:

The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the interruption.

Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution and to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.
